- Provide information systems architecture, designs and data-driven technical advice to FTD leadership.
- Lead information-systems science and technology activities in the Technical Integration Facility.
- Engage with industry and academia to identify and assess gaming, simulation and emerging technologies for transfer into the future training environment.
- Maintain architecture baselines and technical documentation for experiments and demonstrations.
- Support demonstrations and evaluations of prototype technologies.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Active DoD SECRET clearance (must be active at start).
- Master's degree in a related field and 10+ years of relevant experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
- Experience in systems or enterprise architecture for DoD or complex technical programs.
- Experience with game engines, simulation or extended reality (for example, Unreal Engine, Unity, VBS).
- Ability to translate emerging technology into clear recommendations for senior leaders.
- Experience with model-based systems engineering (Cameo / UAF or SysML).
- DoDD 8140.01 compliant certification.
- Experience with the Synthetic Training Environment, One World Terrain or Army M&S programs.
Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors including experience, education, certifications, security clearance requirements, internal equity, and customer or contract requirements.
