This Privacy Notice for NewJob LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), describes how and why we might access, collect, store, use, and/or share ("process") your personal information when you use our services ("Services"), including when you visit our website at newjob.tech.

The short version: we collect minimal data to provide our service, we do not sell your personal information, and we process your data securely.

1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

Personal information you disclose to us:

• When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google's OAuth flow.
• When you subscribe to NewJob Pro, payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. Stripe shares your email and subscription status with us. We never see or store your credit card number.

Information automatically collected:

• We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate the Services. This information does not reveal your specific identity but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, and referring URLs.
• We use Plausible Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregated page view data.

2. HOW DO WE PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION?

We process your information to provide, improve, and administer our Services, communicate with you, for security and fraud prevention, and to comply with law. Specifically:

• To facilitate account creation and authentication and otherwise manage user accounts.
• To deliver and facilitate delivery of services to the user, including saving jobs and managing subscriptions.
• To send administrative information to you, such as changes to our terms, conditions, and policies.
• To fulfill and manage your orders, payments, and subscriptions made through the Services.

3. WHAT LEGAL BASES DO WE RELY ON?

If you are located in the EU or UK, this section applies to you. We only process your personal information when we believe it is necessary and we have a valid legal reason (i.e., legal basis) to do so under applicable law, like with your consent, to comply with laws, to provide you with services to enter into or fulfill our contractual obligations, to protect your rights, or to fulfill our legitimate business interests.

• Consent: We may process your information if you have given us permission to use your personal information for a specific purpose.
• Performance of a Contract: We may process your personal information when we believe it is necessary to fulfill our contractual obligations to you, including providing our Services or at your request prior to entering into a contract with you.
• Legitimate Interests: We may process your information when we believe it is reasonably necessary to achieve our legitimate business interests and those interests do not outweigh your interests and fundamental rights and freedoms.

4. WHEN AND WITH WHOM DO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We may share your data with third-party vendors, service providers, contractors, or agents ("third parties") who perform services for us or on our behalf and require access to such information to do that work. The categories of third parties we may share personal information with are as follows:

• Cloud Computing Services: Cloudflare (hosting and CDN).
• Data Storage and Authentication: Supabase.
• Payment Processors: Stripe.
• Web Analytics: Plausible Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics.

5. DO WE USE COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES?

We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to access or store information. We use minimal cookies necessary for the operation of the site, such as authentication cookies to keep you logged in and security cookies (like Cloudflare's bot protection). We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

6. IS YOUR INFORMATION TRANSFERRED INTERNATIONALLY?

Our servers are located in the United States. If you are accessing our Services from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed by us in our facilities and by those third parties with whom we may share your personal information, in the United States and other countries.

7. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements). When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information.

8. DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM MINORS?

We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 18 years of age. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18. If we learn that personal information from users less than 18 years of age has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records.

9. WHAT ARE YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS?

Depending on where you are located geographically, the applicable privacy law may mean you have certain rights regarding your personal information.

10. DO UNITED STATES RESIDENTS HAVE SPECIFIC PRIVACY RIGHTS?

If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah or Virginia, you are granted specific rights regarding access to your personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information for targeted advertising. You have the right to request that we disclose certain information to you about our collection and use of your personal information over the past 12 months, and the right to request that we delete any of your personal information that we collected from you and retained, subject to certain exceptions.
