Here at The Exploration Company, we are building spacecrafts for humanity.

As we continue to develop the Nyx vehicle and prepare its future missions, strong program coordination is essential. We are looking for a motivated and structured Nyx PMO to support the Chief Program Manager and the Project Management teams in preparing, integrating and tracking schedules across our international organisation.

YOUR MISSION

As a member of the Nyx Program Management Office, you will support the preparation and integration of project schedules and help maintain reliable, up-to-date program data. You will work closely with Project Managers and teams across Munich, Bordeaux and Turin to ensure that planning information is collected, structured and available for effective programme decision-making.

This is a junior position offering broad exposure to program management, project planning and the development of a complex space vehicle.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the preparation and integration of Nyx project and program schedules.
  • Collect schedule inputs from project managers and consolidate them into coherent planning views.
  • Maintain schedule data, activity progress, milestones, dependencies and tracking information up to date.
  • Follow up with stakeholders to obtain status updates and clarify missing or inconsistent information.
  • Support Project Managers in the preparation, review and maintenance of their schedules.
  • Support the use of scheduling and project-management tools across the Nyx program.
  • Prepare schedule updates, progress overviews and inputs for program reviews.
  • Help identify schedule risks, delays, dependencies and conflicts, and raise them to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of PMO processes, templates and reporting routines.
  • Support the consistent application of planning practices across the different Nyx locations.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • First experience in project management, program management, PMO, planning, engineering coordination or a similar environment.
  • A degree or equivalent experience in engineering, business, project management or a related field.
  • A structured and detail-oriented approach to work.
  • Good working knowledge of spreadsheets and a willingness to learn scheduling and project-management tools.
  • The ability to collect, organise and communicate information clearly.
  • A proactive mindset and the confidence to follow up with stakeholders across different teams.
  • The ability to identify inconsistencies, raise risks early and support the resolution of planning issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills in an international and cross-functional environment.
  • A genuine interest in space exploration and complex technical programmes.
  • Professional fluency in English. Additional languages are a plus.
