Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with engineering to develop layouts and sequence of operations.
- Work with engineering to design and construct templates and fixtures.
- Locates and marks bending and cutting lines onto workpiece.
- Sets up and operates fabricating machines such as benders, grinders, saws, cutters, presses, and collet swager.
- Cuts, deburrs, and sizes bent tubes to verify conformity using fixtures or mylars as needed.
- Positions, aligns, and fits parts together.
- Verifies conformance of workpiece to specifications.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
- Consistently, regularly and predictably at work and on time.
- Ability to perform basic mathematic equations to calculate ovality and arc lengths.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed
Education, Certifications, Licenses, & Registrations
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

This position is responsible for the fabrication, shaping, bending, and assembly of metal products for aircraft applications.
