Senior Automation Engineer - UiPath

  About the role
We are currently looking for a  Senior Intelligent Automation Engineer - UiPath to join our Delivery Team, and work on exciting Enterprise-scale RPA and Intelligent Automation solutions.

The  Senior Intelligent Automation Engineer will be a key member of our Delivery Team, with a specific focus on leveraging the UiPath Platform to create innovative solutions for our clients. As a  Senior  in  Intelligent Automation , you will oversee workflow ideation and delivery that streamline business processes, increase efficiency, and enable digital transformation across a wide array of industries.   
What  You ’ll   Own  


• Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and resilient automation solutions using the full  UiPath stack, including Studio, Orchestrator, AI Center, Document Understanding, IXP, Test automation, Maestro, Agent builder, and integrations, following defined architecture and governance standards.  



• Act as a UiPath all‑rounder across the solution lifecycle, contributing to design, development, test, deployment, and support of automations.  



• Contribute to migration activities such as UiPath version upgrades, refactoring, and continuous enhancement of existing solutions.  



• Participate in the discovery, estimation, and delivery of advanced automation, test, and Agentic AI use cases using UiPath capabilities.  



• Support the Delivery team with hands‑on development, applying UiPath best practices, reusable components, and ensuring consistent code quality.  



• Stay up to date with new UiPath features and releases, and proactively support their adoption and practical use within project teams.  



• Explore and apply UiPath connectors, AI features, and platform capabilities to improve performance, stability, and user experience of solutions.  



• Contribute to project planning, effort estimation, technical documentation, and demos as part of a cross‑functional agile team.  



• Support quality assurance, testing, deployment, and post‑go‑live activities to ensure solutions meet client expectations and SLAs, working closely with the Delivery team.  

 
Must-have Qualifications & Competencies  


• 5+ years of hands-on UiPath  development experience  



• Strong proficiency with  UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, and REFramework and the full UiPath suite.  



• Proven ability to design  enterprise-scale automation  architectures  



• Proven  experience  in designing and delivering  multiple RPA solutions  with  UiPath .  

• H ands-on experience  with  UiPath I D P (Intelligent  Document  Processing)  converting unstructured and semi-structured data such as emails, contracts, and invoices into structured data for automation .

• Hands- on  experience with UiPath Test Manager,  used to plan, manage, and  monitor  automated and manual testing activities  



• Confident in English  (written and spoken) and  French  



• Independent, proactive, and self-driven  — you take initiative and don’t wait to be told what to do.  



• Solid  communication skills and the ability to work closely with clients  and cross-functional teams.  



• Excellent  analytical and problem-solving skills , with the ability to think strategically and creatively  



• Ability to  manage projects and drive account value  through continuous collaboration with clients  



• Willingness to mentor junior developers and contribute to capability building across the team  



• Must be located in  Barcelona , Spain.  

 
Nice-to-have Qualifications & Competencies  


• Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP)  



• Solid experience with  AI Center, Action Center and proven expertise in building Agentic AI solutions  is a plus  



• Solutions Architect Certification (in place of  UiARD )  



• Good grasp of the Automation landscape (e.g. RPA, Process Mining, Test automation, IDP, etc)  



• UiPath Advanced RPA Developer certification
