What You’ll Get to Do
Every day, CRL branches serve customers across the glass, glazing, hardware & metal solutions industries. Those customers need product on time. As our Planning Manager , you will be the business owner of how inventory is positioned across our branch network. You will shape the SAP planning strategy that keeps branches stocked, customers served & inventory investment efficient.
This role has real influence & visibility. You will work with Branch Operations, Procurement & Logistics, and your decisions will affect service levels across the network.
Job responsibilities include:
- Lead inventory planning & replenishment across all CRL distribution branches
- Own SAP planning parameters, including MRP settings, safety stock levels, reorder points & replenishment rules
- Design & execute branch-to-branch and warehouse-to-branch Stock Transfer Order (STO) strategies
- Spot inventory imbalances early & move stock to where demand is
- Partner with Branch Operations, Procurement & Logistics to resolve shortages & improve deployment
- Drive continuous improvement & automation of planning processes within SAP
- Contribute to SAP enhancements, system upgrades & planning projects
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years in inventory planning, replenishment, procurement or supply chain operations
- Strong working knowledge of SAP MM, MRP & STO processes
- Experience managing inventory across a multi-site distribution network
- Strong analytical, problem-solving & leadership skills
- A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations or a related field, or 5+ years of procurement leadership experience in place of a degree
- Planning certifications (CPIM / CSCP) preferred
Position Pay Range
$95,000 — $110,000 USD
