- Design, develop, and implement new functionality for decoupled backend services.

- At least 5 years of professional experience developing backend applications with Python .
- Strong commercial experience building web applications using Django and the Django ORM.
- Solid experience working with relational databases, particularly MySQL .
- Experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs , GraphQL , or similar service interfaces.
- Experience working with distributed systems and asynchronous messaging technologies such as Celery .
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, software design patterns, clean architecture, and distributed system design.
- Experience using Git-based version control workflows, including branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews.
- Experience writing technical documentation and software design specifications.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills using profiling tools, SQL execution plans, application monitoring tools (e.g., New Relic), and related technologies.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of technical solutions, prioritize tasks effectively, and proactively resolve issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to participate in technical discussions and mentor other engineers.
