You will be part of a talented engineering team building next-generation intelligent applications that combine traditional software engineering with Generative AI and Agentic AI capabilities. The role involves designing, developing, and deploying scalable enterprise applications, AI-powered workflows, and autonomous agents that solve real-world business challenges.

We are looking for a strong Python Developer with experience in Generative AI and Agentic Application Development to join our engineering team. If you are passionate about building scalable, high-performance solutions using Python, LLMs, AI frameworks, and modern cloud-native technologies, we'd love to have you join us in our Chennai Technology Hub.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python-based enterprise applications and AI-powered solutions.
  • Build and deploy Agentic AI applications leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), orchestration frameworks, and tool integrations.
  • Develop intelligent workflows using technologies such as LangChain, LangGraph, MAF  or similar frameworks.
  • Integrate enterprise systems, APIs, and data platforms with AI applications using MCP (Model Context Protocol) and related integration patterns.
  • Collaborate with product, operations, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
  • Create technical designs, solution approaches for AI-driven applications.
  • Develop high-performance backend services with strong database and data processing capabilities.
  • Design and optimize prompts, agent workflows, memory management, and context orchestration strategies.
  • Conduct research, evaluate emerging AI technologies, and recommend innovative solutions.
  • Ensure code quality, maintainability, security, and adherence to software engineering best practices.
  • Develop and execute unit, integration, and automated testing strategies for both traditional and AI-enabled applications.
  • Improve application responsiveness, scalability, observability, and operational performance.
  • Collaborate within Agile cross-functional teams and actively participate in design reviews and sprint activities.
  • Work with version control, CI/CD, and DevOps tools such as Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Bamboo, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms.
  • Drive adoption of AI-assisted development practices, automation, and engineering productivity improvements.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-6 years of software development experience with strong hands-on Python programming.
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, and software engineering principles.
  • Experience developing RESTful APIs and backend services.
  • Strong proficiency in data structures, algorithms, and system design.
  • Experience building scalable, maintainable, and performance-oriented applications.
  • Hands-on experience with Generative AI technologies and Large Language Models (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, or similar).
  • Experience in Agentic AI application development using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, MAF, or equivalent.
  • Understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, embeddings, prompt engineering, and AI evaluation techniques.
  • Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol), tool calling, function calling, and agent integration patterns.
  • Experience with Foundry platforms and enterprise AI development ecosystems.
  • Experience with Git, Bitbucket, JIRA, Confluence, Artifactory, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
