We are looking for a Backend Platform Engineer to join our team and work within the AI Platform team of a large-scale organization🐶🚀
This team maintains the backend platform behind the organization's AI models and agents, including the services that integrate with agentic AI, observability, and MCP servers. Hybrid work model.
- Leveraging our expertise, we build modern Machine Learning systems for demand planning and budget forecasting.
- Developing scalable data infrastructures, we enhance high-level decision-making, tailored to each client.
- Offering comprehensive Data Engineering and custom AI solutions, we optimize cloud-based systems.
- Using Generative AI, we help e-commerce platforms and retailers create higher-quality ads, faster.
- Building deep learning models, we enhance visual recognition and automation for various industries, improving product categorization, quality control, and information retrieval.
- Developing recommendation models, we personalize user experiences in e-commerce, streaming, and digital platforms, driving engagement and conversions.

- Design and develop backend services with FastAPI.
- Integrate the platform with agentic AI services.
- Maintain the platform for agentic models, including its observability.
- Develop and manage MCP servers throughout their entire lifecycle.
- Design and operate relational and non-relational databases.
- Apply good authentication and security practices.
- Collaborate across the full stack (frontend, backend, and AI).
- 5+ years of experience with Python and strong command of its best practices.
- Advanced knowledge of FastAPI or similar frameworks.
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
- Knowledge of platforms for agentic models and of observability.
- Knowledge of MCP development and lifecycle.
- Familiarity with LangChain and LangGraph.
- Experience integrating agentic AI services.
- Basic knowledge of cloud.
- Experience working in platform teams.
- Good authentication and security practices.
- Curiosity, a drive to stay up to date, and willingness to work across the full stack.
- Stack: Python, FastAPI, LangChain, LangGraph, MCP, relational and non-relational databases, Cloud.
