This is a hybrid role with an expectation of working onsite in Traverse City three days per week.
Your Leadership in Action
•
Lead the Clinical Informatics department, including staff development, performance management, and operational oversight.
•
Serve as a trusted advisor to clinical and operational leaders to optimize EHR performance, quality, patient safety, and efficiency.
•
Direct workflow redesign and process improvement initiatives to enhance clinical and operational outcomes.
•
Establish and implement EHR best practices, standardization efforts, and performance improvement strategies across the organization.
•
Partner with IT and clinical leadership to evaluate, implement, and optimize new technologies, system upgrades, and clinical applications.
What’s Required
•
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, healthcare, or a related field and 8 years of Clinical Informatics experience required. A clinical background is required. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, an additional 4 years of progressively responsible leadership experience managing others will be considered.
•
Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across all organizational levels.
•
Proven success leading clinical and operational performance improvement initiatives in healthcare.
•
Experience with EHR implementation and optimization required; Cerner EMR/CPOE experience preferred.
•
Strong project management, analytical, and organizational skills with experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives
