  • Troubleshoot and resolve aircraft discrepancies involving avionics, electrical systems, flight controls, hydraulics, powerplants, cabin systems, satcom, connectivity, telephony, and other integrated aircraft systems.
  • Coordinate timely and efficient maintenance solutions with OEMs, vendors, repair stations, and internal stakeholders to minimize aircraft downtime.
  • Support aircraft departures, arrivals, and launch and recovery activities, ensuring the highest standards of coordination and service excellence.
  • Maintain aircraft logbooks, maintenance tracking systems, maintenance records, and associated documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Ensure timely acquisition of required parts, tooling, and maintenance services in support of operational requirements at or away from base.
  • Support Crew Chiefs and fellow maintenance team members on other MSG aircraft as assigned.
  • Foster productive working relationships with vendors, service providers, and internal partners to support the department's objectives.
  • Promote a culture of safety through adherence to company procedures, regulatory requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in departmental projects and special assignments as directed.
  • Maintain technical currency and actively pursue professional growth and development opportunities.
  • Provide exceptional experiences for our guests, partners, and team members, including by adhering to our appearance and presentation guidelines while on-site.

What do you need to succeed?

  • 4-6 years of related experience
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant Certificate required.
  • (5) years of executive or corporate fixed-wing aircraft maintenance experience; experience supporting Gulfstream G550, G650, or equivalent large-cabin business aircraft, strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting aircraft launch and recovery operations.
  • Demonstrated proficiency troubleshooting complex aircraft systems including avionics, connectivity, satcom, telephony, next generation cabin technologies, and integrated aircraft systems.
  • OEM maintenance training on at least one company-operated aircraft preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to balance hands-on maintenance responsibilities with coordination of vendors, maintenance providers, and operational stakeholders in dynamic environments.
  • Proficiency with maintenance tracking systems, Microsoft Office applications, and related technical tools.
  • Demonstrate a proactive, solutions-oriented attitude with a high level of integrity, professionalism, discretion, and commitment to safety.
  • Approach challenges with accountability, adaptability, and a willingness to learn, while fostering teamwork and maintaining a positive mindset in a dynamic, fast-paced aviation environment.
  • Holds a valid driver's license with the ability to obtain an airport access badge and pass the airport-driving test.

Special Requirements

  • Domestic and international travel as required to support aircraft operations and maintenance activities.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform maintenance activities in hangars, on ramps, and in operational environments.
