Manager - Tax

We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead client service delivery for our tax practice, with a strong focus on tax compliance, fund structuring, and consulting services for the alternative asset industry. This role is responsible for driving exceptional client outcomes, supporting fund formation and tax planning initiatives, developing a high-performing team, and contributing to the continued growth of the firm's tax service offering.

• You'll lead and deliver tax compliance, planning, and consulting engagements while contributing to the growth and development of the firm's tax service offering.
• You'll establish and enhance processes and procedures to ensure high-quality client service while maintaining operational efficiency and profitability.
• You'll identify, assess, and mitigate tax risks, providing strategic guidance and recommendations to clients as a trusted advisor.
• You'll manage client relationships through proactive communication, ensuring expectations are met and deadlines are consistently achieved.
• You'll attract, mentor, and develop team members while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.

• The salary for this position will be dependent on experience and location ($120,000 - $140,000)

• You have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a CPA designation, with a Master's in Taxation preferred.
• You bring at least six years of progressive federal tax consulting and/or compliance experience, ideally including Private Equity and alternative asset industry expertise.
• You demonstrate strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP, tax compliance, corporate and partnership returns, tax provisions, and state and local tax requirements.
• You communicate effectively, deliver exceptional client service, and manage multiple priorities with strong organizational skills.
• You have experience leading, mentoring, and developing team members, with FATCA/CRS knowledge considered a plus.
