  • Lead go-to-market strategy for model and SMA solutions across distribution channels.
  • Partner with Sales, Relationship Management, and Platform teams to drive adoption and revenue growth.
  • Identify and develop strategic partnerships with wealth platforms, asset managers, and technology providers.
  • Oversee the design, development, and lifecycle management of managed account solutions.
  • Partner with iCapital’s Research, Technology and Platform teams to develop framework to make models and managed accounts available in various structures, including hosting on third-party platforms and portfolio management systems.
  • Drive innovation in portfolio implementation, rebalancing, reporting, and analytics.
  • Partner with iCapital’s operations team to define the operational framework needed to support managed account solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure solutions meet client needs across RIAs, broker-dealers, wirehouses, and private banks.
  • Guide the structuring of models and managed account solutions, ensuring regulatory alignment and scalability.
  • Partner with legal and compliance teams to ensure all offerings meet regulatory and governance requirements, engagements, including platform integrations, RFPs, and strategic initiatives.
  • Serve as a senior thought leader externally, representing iCapital with wealth managers, asset managers, and industry partners.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of financial advisors, client portfolios, and portfolio construction workflows.
  • Gather market feedback to continuously refine product offerings and positioning.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in asset management, wealth management, or financial technology, with a focus on model portfolios, SMAs, or portfolio construction
  • Proven experience building and scaling investment advisory programs, model portfolios, or managed account solutions
  • Strong knowledge of the Investment Company Act of 1940, including registered product structures and compliance considerations
  • Extensive experience with SMA program structuring, UMA platforms, and advisory platform implementation
  • Experience owning or managing alternative investment products or private markets strategies
  • Strong track record of leading go-to-market initiatives and driving revenue growth
  • Deep understanding of portfolio construction and asset allocation, portfolio implementation and trading workflows, model management and customization, performance reporting and analytics
  • Able to operate at a senior level across product, strategy, sales, and technology teams
  • Exceptional communication and executive presence, with the ability to engage internal stakeholders and external clients
