Key Responsibilities:
•
Implement marketing campaigns across both in-app and out of app channels, develop an understanding of measuring campaign performance
•
Ensure day-to-day operational excellence of marketing activities
•
Conceptualize social media strategy, manage and execute ideas on social media platforms. Create engaging, informative and visually appealing content
•
Liaising with internal stakeholders to produce and develop marketing assets
•
Support the team with data reporting and generating insights
•
Monitor user behavior and engagement within the Carousell app and provide insights to improve campaign performance.
•
Ideate and test low-cost social content: Generate creative ideas and concepts for engaging social media content. Utilize basic filming and editing skills to create hacky videos. Stay updated with social media trends and adapt content creation strategies accordingly
•
Leverage AI tools to brainstorm social concepts and optimize copywriting for different platforms
•
Adhoc operational support for the marketing team
- This is a full-time, 6-month internship starting Jan 2027.
•
Currently pursuing a course majoring in Marketing or Business in a Polytechnic or University.
•
Familiarity with social media platforms and their content requirements.
•
Strong copywriting skills
•
Basic video editing and content creation skills using tools such as CapCut, Canva, or similar platforms will be an advantage.
•
Ability to generate insights and recommendations from large datasets
•
Proficiency in Microsoft and/or Google Suite applications, particularly Excel/Sheets, Word/Docs and Powerpoint/Slides
•
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
•
Innovative mindset and ability to think creatively to solve problems within operating constraints.
•
Self-starter and a multi-tasker with strong project management capability
•
Team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment
•
Keen interest in Carousell and how secondhand marketplaces operate
•
Basic proficiency in using Generative AI to assist in content creation and data summarization
•
Available to commit to full-time work for 6 months
