The Sales Trainee will be enrolled in our 12-18 month sales training program to prepare and equip the associate with the knowledge and skills in learning the corrugated packaging industry to become a part of our successful Account Executive team.

- Follow established safety rules, policies and procedures at all times
- Participate in a 12-18 month sales training program to prepare for a long-term position with BCI as an Account Executive or Customer Service Representative
- Meet or exceed the operating standards in the areas of sales and customer service. Such standards will be set annually and communicated to the Account Executive
- Achieve in meeting or exceeding the developed professional goals set to and agreed upon between yourself and the manager
- Participate in advancing the business through new and innovative ideas
- Exhibit professional behavior at all times and treating others with respect
- Full-time role in an office setting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong communication, interpersonal, listening and verbal and written communication skills
- Highly motivated and results-orientated individual who can work well both independently and within a team environment
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as sales reports, operating instructions and training and procedure manuals
- Ability to write reports and correspondence
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, costs, proportions, percentages and volume
- Strong attention to detail
- Bachelor’s degree preferred. Required for Account Executive position.
- Two years outside selling or related experience – preferred, but not required
- Experience in the corrugated box industry – preferred, but not required
- Valid driver’s license, safe driving record and reliable transportation
$58,000-$62,000 per year, quarterly bonuses
