About the Role
You are an engineer who, above all, is excited to build products that give our customers the best possible experience purchasing prescription medications. You have professional experience working on a team turning ideas into reliable, maintainable code — and ideally, you are eager to apply AI and machine learning to make healthcare more accessible, affordable, and personalized.
We believe in using a small number of well-known tools like AWS, Python, Javascript, MySQL/Postgres, and Linux . We are looking for engineers that value simplicity, pragmatism, and a bias toward action , and who are passionate about building products that bring real value to our customers.
Sr Software Engineers II at Blink are responsible for building our world-class products. Your job is to take ownership over one of our hardest problems, envision and refine strategic solutions, and drive execution like an entrepreneur.
You will collaborate closely with a talented, cross-functional team of designers, product managers, data scientists, marketers, and operators. Through these partnerships, you’ll grow our business, build our core platform, and—above all—make sure that our customers have access to the least expensive and highest satisfaction pharmacy experience on earth.

Required Skills & Experience
- 6–9 years of professional software engineering experience, excluding internships
- End-to-end ownership: take ambiguous requirements from design through release and production
- Full-stack system design across UI, APIs, backend services, and databases
- Strong fundamentals in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript, writing clean, well-tested code in large codebases
- Distributed systems: APIs, async messaging, integrations, and handling retries, idempotency, and failures
- Relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL): schema design, indexing, query optimization, safe migrations
- Production cloud and Kubernetes on AWS or an equivalent: deploying, scaling, and operating applications
- Production debugging and safe delivery: incident triage, root-cause fixes, CI/CD, feature flags, phased rollouts
- Technical leadership: design decisions, code reviews, mentoring, and stakeholder alignment without formal authority
- Product judgment: pragmatic trade-offs tied to customer and business outcomes
- AI-assisted engineering: hands-on with Claude Code, Cursor, or similar tools, while validating and owning the output
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Production LLM/agent integrations (RAG, vector DBs, tool calling, MCP) with evaluation and guardrails
- Our stack: Python/Django, React, PostgreSQL/MySQL, Linux
- Terraform, Kafka/Kinesis, Airflow/Camunda
- Service extraction, data migrations, or systems where correctness and auditability are critical
- Healthcare, pharmacy, fintech, or commerce domain experience
