About this role
Andrew Morgan is a rapidly growing Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and HUBZone-certified organization supporting enterprise financial management solutions for DoD clients. We are seeking an experienced OneStream Architect to serve as the technical authority on our most complex engagements, driving platform strategy, owning solution design, and elevating the broader delivery team.
The OneStream Architect is the most senior technical role on the delivery team. You will own the end-to-end architecture of OneStream implementations for DoD financial management programs, from initial solution design through sustainment, while providing hands-on technical leadership and strategic guidance to clients and internal developers alike.
This is not a purely advisory role. We expect our Architects to be deeply fluent in the platform, credible in the room with senior client stakeholders, and capable of rolling up their sleeves when the engagement demands it.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Platform Architecture & Design
• Own the end-to-end architecture of OneStream solutions: cube design, dimension strategy, Business Rule frameworks, and integration architecture
• Define and enforce platform standards, design patterns, and governance practices across the delivery team
• Evaluate and validate technical designs produced by developers, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability
• Lead assessment reviews of existing OneStream environments to identify gaps, risks, and optimization opportunities
Client Engagement & Strategy
• Serve as the technical authority in client-facing discussions with senior finance and IT stakeholders
• Translate complex business and regulatory requirements into actionable, well-scoped technical solutions
• Define and maintain the strategic roadmap for the OneStream application in alignment with client priorities and platform advancements
• Provide strategic recommendations for process improvement, feature adoption, and platform evolution
Delivery Leadership
• Lead and mentor a team of OneStream Developers across seniority levels, providing technical direction and quality oversight
• Drive the design and implementation of financial models, consolidation frameworks, reporting structures, and analytics solutions
• Guide the architecture of integrations with upstream source systems, ensuring reliable, accurate, and auditable data flows
• Oversee platform development through all project lifecycle phases: design, build, test, documentation, training, and sustainment
• Collaborate with project managers to scope effort, manage technical risk, and ensure delivery commitments are met
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 10+ years of overall professional experience, with at least 5+ years in OneStream or enterprise EPM/CPM platforms
• Demonstrated expertise in OneStream solution architecture: cube design, dimension modeling, Business Rules, workflow, and platform configuration
• Deep understanding of financial consolidation, close management, FP&A, and operational reporting, particularly in complex or regulated environments
• Proficiency in VB.NET and SQL; working knowledge of C#, Python, or REST API development
• Proven experience architecting data integrations with ERP and source systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Deltek Costpoint)
• Strong executive communication skills, capable of presenting technical strategy to non-technical senior stakeholders
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• OneStream Certification — Lead Architect or equivalent
• Federal or DoD financial management experience (e.g., USSGL, GTAS, SF-133 reporting)
• Experience migrating organizations from legacy EPM platforms such as HFM, Hyperion Planning, SAP BPC, or IBM TM1
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies in a federal program context
• Experience leading or contributing to proposal development, solution scoping, or contract support
SALARY:
Salary is commensurate with both location and experience.
THE AM EMPLOYEE WILL DISPLAY…
• Attention to Detail: Produce high-quality deliverables and outputs that align with contract outcomes.
• Self-Sufficiency: Execute tasks independently, seeking client assistance only after internal resources are exhausted, ensuring requests align with contract goals.
• Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with team members, including AMC resources, subcontractors, and government stakeholders.
• Communication/Engagement: Maintain professional conduct in meetings and written communication, participating actively with cameras on.
• Responsiveness: Stay engaged, communicate promptly, and ensure deadlines are consistently met.
