Collection Advisor

Reporting directly to the Credit Assistant Manager , you will play a vital role in managing customer accounts and facilitating the timely recovery of outstanding through empathetic, solution-oriented communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Portfolio Management: Manage a designated portfolio of customer accounts, handling both outbound calls and inbound inquiries to resolve outstanding balances.
• Effective Negotiation: Partner with customers to negotiate mutually beneficial payment schedules that balance their current needs with company objectives.
• Customer Support: Handle complex account queries professionally, providing clear guidance on account status and flexible payment options.
• Accurate Record-Keeping: Maintain detailed, compliant records of all customer communications and actions within our systems.
• Strategic Escalation: Identify and escalate complex or high-risk accounts to Senior Advisors or the Collections Supervisor when necessary.
• Continuous Improvement: Proactively share best practices with the team and identify ways to boost both customer satisfaction and collection rates.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in collections, customer service, or a high-volume call-center environment.
• Core Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate difficult conversations tactfully, calmly, and professionally.
• Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational and time-management skills with an eye for data accuracy.
• Tech Savvy: Proficient in using collections software, CRM platforms, and data entry tools.
• Industry Knowledge: A basic understanding of standard collections processes and relevant financial regulatory compliance is a major plus.

• Attractive salary  (Potential earnings up to RM7,500 – Basic + commission)

Requirements:

•
Minimum of 1 year of experience in collections, customer service, or a related field.

•
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle challenging conversations tactfully and professionally.

•
Good organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.

•
Basic knowledge of collections processes, and relevant regulatory requirements is a plus.

•
Ability to work with collections software and data entry systems.

• Mandarin speaking is required
