Manufacturing Order Project Coordinator
Location: Marietta, OH

Position Overview
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to help manage configure-to-order (CTO) and quick-ship projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role tracks orders through production and shipment while keeping internal teams aligned on schedules, requirements, and potential delays.

  • Follow CTO and quick-ship orders from initial entry through shipment and final closeout.
  • Review sales orders to confirm configurations, requirements, and other information are complete and accurate.
  • Monitor key milestones such as material availability, production progress, testing, and shipment.
  • Keep order and project information current in ERP and project management systems .
  • Communicate regularly with production, supply chain, quality, and shipping teams regarding order status.
  • Provide customers with timely updates and communicate changes to expected delivery schedules.
  • Identify orders at risk of delay and escalate issues early to minimize delivery impacts.
  • Coordinate shipping activities, required documentation, logistics, and customer-specific requirements.
  • Prepare project status updates and reports for internal teams and customers.
  • Assist with improvements to order tracking, scheduling, and project coordination processes.
  • Help resolve order-related issues and ensure appropriate follow-through through completion.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, order management, customer service, inside sales support, or operations within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and project tracking tools .
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate data.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and reliable follow-through.
  • Experience in electrical, industrial, or electromechanical manufacturing .
  • Familiarity with configure-to-order (CTO) or make-to-order manufacturing .
  • Exposure to power distribution products or industrial equipment.
  • Experience coordinating manufactured-product shipments and logistics.
  • CAPM certification or interest in pursuing a project management certification.
