About this role
• Perform credit assessments for new customer onboarding, including basic KYC checks, financial review, and legitimacy verification. • Review and approve credit limits within delegated authority and escalate higher-risk cases when necessary. • Monitor customer credit utilisation, overdue balances, and overall portfolio exposure. • Conduct periodic credit reviews and support credit limit adjustments • Maintain accurate credit documentation and records. • Identify early warning signs of credit risk such as delays in payment or deteriorating behaviour. • Ensure adherence to internal credit policies and procedures. • Support improvements to credit processes and basic automation initiatives. • Work closely with Sales and other stakeholders to provide clear explanations for credit decisions
• 2–5 years of experience in credit risk, credit analysis, loan underwriting, credit operations, or trade credit-related roles • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Banking, or related field • Basic understanding of financial statement analysis and credit risk principles • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills • Good attention to detail • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (AppScript is an advantage) • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines • English and Malay • Strong judgment and decision-making ability • Good communication and stakeholder management skills • Ability to balance risk control with business needs • Independent and team-oriented working style
