About this role
• Lead the month-end closing cycle to ensure full alignment with IFRS and group policies, consistently delivering timely and accurate financial statements. • Oversee all statutory reporting and external audit lifecycles; act as a key liaison for headquarters during quarterly group audits to ensure seamless data flow and compliance. • Direct the finance team in executing core operations, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and other functions. • Ensure rigorous compliance with GST, withholding tax, corporate tax, secretarial requirements, and evolving gig-worker legislation. • Lead the development of robust internal controls and financial policies, significantly enhancing the efficiency and integrity of the organisation’s operations. • Partner with HQ to launch new products and features, integrating group-wide processes into local workflows. • Participate in ad-hoc projects, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to contribute to the company's success.
• Familiarity with accounting standards, tax laws, economic regulations, and internal control processes, with a preference for knowledge of IFRS • High attention to detail and accuracy • Independent, self-motivated individual who enjoys taking on greater levels of responsibility • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage competing priorities effectively
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related field • Professional certification (e.g. CPA, ACCA) is an added advantage • Minimum of 4 years experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity
