The Content Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing a brand's content strategy to attract, engage, and convert target audiences.

Strategy & Planning

  • Defining content goals tied to business objectives (awareness, pipeline, retention)
  • Building and managing an editorial calendar
  • Identifying target audience personas and mapping content to their journey stages

Content Creation & Management

  • Writing or overseeing production of blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, eBooks, email campaigns, and social content
  • Managing freelancers, agencies, or internal subject matter experts
  • Ensuring brand voice and messaging consistency across all content

SEO & Distribution Conducting keyword research and optimizing content for search

  • Distributing content across owned, earned, and paid channels
  • Managing content on the website/CMS

Demand Generation Support

  • Creating gated assets (guides, reports) for lead capture
  • Supporting sales with enablement content (one-pagers, battlecards, FAQs)
  • Partnering with demand gen on nurture emails and campaign content

Performance & Analytics

  • Tracking content metrics (traffic, engagement, leads, pipeline influenced)
  • Reporting on what's working and iterating based on data

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Working closely with product, sales, and customer success to source insights and stories
  • Partnering with design for content production

In a B2B context like IntegriChain, this role would also involve things like thought leadership content tied to market access and pharma commercialization topics, customer stories and case studies , and content that supports a longer, more complex sales cycle.

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of content marketing experience , with at least 2 years in B2B SaaS, healthcare IT, life sciences, or a related technical/regulated industry
  • Bachelor's degree  in Marketing, Communications, Life Sciences, English, Journalism, or related field
  • Proven writing portfolio  demonstrating ability to translate complex technical/scientific concepts into clear, compelling content for varied audiences (e.g., pharma manufacturers, market access professionals, C-suite buyers)
  • Experience owning a  content calendar  and managing multiple concurrent projects/deadlines independently
  • Hands-on experience producing a range of formats: blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, email nurture campaigns, sales enablement collateral, web copy, and social content (especially LinkedIn)
  • Familiarity with  SEO best practices  and increasingly,  AEO/answer engine optimization  for AI-driven search


Experience with  marketing automation and CMS platforms  (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Marketing Cloud, WordPress) and basic proficiency in analytics/reporting tools

  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with  sales, product, and subject matter experts  to source and validate content

Strongly Preferred

  • Background or working knowledge of  pharmaceutical commercialization, government pricing, gross-to-net, market access, or biopharma data/analytics
  • Experience supporting  demand generation  funnels (top-of-funnel awareness through sales enablement)
  • Familiarity with  PE-backed or high-growth B2B tech environments  where marketing teams are lean and content ownership is broad
  • Experience partnering with design/creative resources (internal or agency) to produce polished, on-brand assets
  • Track record of  repurposing long-form content  into multi-channel campaigns (e.g., one whitepaper → LinkedIn series, email nurture, sales one-pager)

Soft Skills / Traits

  • Strong editorial judgment and consistency with brand voice
  • Self-starter comfortable in a lean team where they'll wear multiple hats
  • Ability to take ambiguous input from SMEs and turn it into polished narrative
