Our Retail Operations & Transformation team are laser-focused on critical metrics—driving SAP support, efficiency of in-store operations, checkout performance and play a key role with new store openings & ownership changes across all three banners.
Te Tūranga – About the role
As our Workforce & Analytics Manager, you’ll play a critical role in improving how our stores operate day-to-day.
You’ll lead a team delivering data-led insights and practical solutions that ensure stores have the right people, in the right place, at the right time.
This role sits at the intersection of analytics, operations, and workforce strategy - helping lift customer experience, improve service consistency, and reduce the cost to serve across our retail network.
You’ll be responsible for:
Leading end-to-end workforce planning across the network (forecasting, modelling, deployment)
Owning labour models, productivity standards, and planning frameworks
Turning complex data into clear, actionable insights for stores and leaders
Driving service performance improvements across customer-facing operations
Identifying and delivering optimisation initiatives that simplify processes and improve execution
Partnering cross-functionally to influence commercially strong outcomes
Leading and developing a high-performing team of analysts and specialists

You’re a commercially sharp, data-driven leader who understands what great retail operations look like — and how to enable them through workforce and service insight.
You’ll bring:
Extensive experience in workforce planning, analytics, or retail operations
Proven experience leading specialist teams and driving capability uplift
Deep expertise in workforce modelling, labour economics, and productivity levers
Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence at senior levels
A track record of turning insight into practical, scalable outcomes
Hands-on experience with labour planning tools, POS, or operational reporting platforms
You’re equally comfortable thinking strategically and rolling up your sleeves to deliver — and you thrive in environments where collaboration and impact matter.
