About the role
We are looking for a Business Analyst, Professional  Services  to join us in Bengaluru. This role sits within our Professional Services team and supports client-facing implementations of EquiLend Spire, our securities finance platform. You will help new clients adopt Spire by understanding their workflows, documenting requirements, supporting data  mapping  and working with internal teams to turn implementation needs into clear delivery activity.

Professional Services acts as the bridge between our clients and our internal technical teams. In this role you will engage directly with clients to gather requirements, document implementation  needs  and support delivery through the full SDLC including UAT and go-live. This is a product implementation role, not a data analyst, production  support  or operational processing role. It would suit someone with business analysis and implementation experience who wants to build deeper knowledge of securities finance platforms and client-facing product delivery.

What  you’ll  do

  • Support product implementation workstreams for new clients, including requirements gathering, documentation, delivery  tracking  and implementation readiness.
  • Work with clients and internal teams to understand operating models, workflow needs, integration  points  and implementation priorities.
  • Document business requirements, process flows, user stories, acceptance  criteria  and implementation decisions in a clear and structured way.
  • Support the full SDLC for client implementations, including contributing to UAT planning, go-live  preparation  and post-implementation activity.
  • Assist  with data mapping activity to support integrations between client systems and EquiLend platforms.
  • Translate client requirements into practical product, configuration,  integration  and testing inputs for Product, Engineering and QA teams.
  • Help review test cases,  validate  outputs, track  defects  and coordinate follow-up actions during implementation.
  • Maintain  implementation trackers covering actions, risks, dependencies,  decisions  and stakeholder updates.
  • Contribute to Agile delivery activity, including backlog refinement, sprint planning and delivery updates using tools such as Jira.
  • Build understanding of securities finance workflows across areas such as trading, books and records, billing, collateral,  settlement  and reporting.
  • Support improvements to Professional Services templates, documentation  standards  and implementation processes.

What  we’re  looking for

  • 3+ years’ experience in business analysis, product implementation, client onboarding, financial technology delivery or a comparable role within fintech, financial services  technology  or capital markets.
  • Practical experience supporting requirements gathering, workflow documentation and implementation activity through working understanding of the SDLC, including UAT and go-live.
  • Client-facing experience (internal or external) with the ability to gather requirements, ask structured questions and manage straightforward stakeholder interactions.
  • Foundational understanding of financial services, capital markets, post-trade,  securities   finance  or related workflows.
  • Experience writing clear documentation, including requirements, process flows, user stories, acceptance  criteria  or implementation notes.
  • Ability to work with product, engineering, QA,  project  and client-facing teams to clarify requirements and follow through on actions.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to  organise  information clearly and keep delivery activity moving.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to ask questions and explain issues to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A practical, client-focused approach to problem solving and a willingness to build knowledge of EquiLend Spire and securities finance workflows.

Nice to have

  • Exposure to  data mapping, data validation, SQL, system  integrations  or testing activity.
  • Experience in securities lending, securities finance or a closely adjacent capital  markets  domain.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methods and tools such as Jira.

Why EquiLend?

  • Be  recognised  for your contribution through a discretionary annual cash bonus, linked to individual and company performance.
  • Work flexibly with up to 100 remote working days per calendar year.
  • Take time to recharge with generous annual leave, plus public holidays.
  • Access comprehensive health insurance for you and your dependents from your first day.
  • Receive personal accident insurance from the start of your employment.
  • Connect with colleagues at an annual company-sponsored team retreat, hosted at a new location each year.
  • If  relocating from  more than 40 miles away, receive hotel accommodation and travel ticket reimbursement.
