•
Own the retention and LTV lifecycle strategy across email, SMS, and push in Iterable
•
Build and manage key member moments including:
•
Onboarding and first-visit activation sequences
•
Prescription refill and medication adherence reminders
•
Renewal and pre-renewal engagement programs
•
Win-back and churn-prevention flows
•
Cross-sell and expansion campaigns (additional pets, supplements, program upgrades)
•
Define and monitor cohort-level retention metrics: renewal rate, churn, visit frequency, refill rate, LTV
•
Partner with data and engineering to build the segmentation and triggers needed for behavior-based messaging
•
Develop a testing roadmap for offers, timing, cadence, and content that measurably improves retention
•
Partner with CX and clinical teams to ensure member messaging reinforces the vet relationship and drives real health outcomes
•
QA campaigns thoroughly (logic, personalization, rendering, links, timing)
•
Mentor and set best practices as the lifecycle team scales
•
5+ years of lifecycle or CRM marketing experience with a focus on retention, engagement, or LTV
•
3+ years of hands-on Iterable (Klaviyo, Braze, or similar) experience required (journeys, triggers, segmentation, A/B testing)
•
Strong command of retention analytics: cohort analysis, churn modeling, LTV measurement
•
Experience owning renewal or subscription retention metrics with direct accountability for results
•
Comfort partnering with data teams on segmentation, event tracking, and reporting
•
Extremely detail-oriented with strong QA instincts
•
Clear, persuasive writing style that balances helpfulness with Dutch's warm, trustworthy voice
•
Ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously in a fast-moving environment
•
A bias toward action: ship, learn, iterate
Nice to Haves:
•
Experience in subscription, DTC, or consumer health/wellness
•
Familiarity with predictive churn models or propensity scoring
•
HTML knowledge for email troubleshooting
•
Experience with medication adherence, healthcare, or compliance-sensitive messaging
•
You'll own the programs that determine whether members stay, renew, and grow with Dutch
•
Retention is the highest-leverage number in a subscription business, and this role has direct accountability for it
•
You'll shape how Dutch deepens trust with members over the full life of their pet
