Objective: • Own the vision, production, and go-to-market of Amanotes’ next music platform. Lead the end-to-end process from user understanding, concept, soft launch, global launch, and live operations. • This role is to start it. You won't inherit a roadmap or a P&L. You'll inherit a strategic mandate, a CEO sponsor, a seed team, and the freedom (and accountability) to find product-market fit from scratch. • You'll thrive here if you've started something before, if "I don't know yet, let me go talk to 30 users" sounds like a normal Tuesday, and if you'd rather pick one beachhead and dominate it than build for everyone and convince no one. Outcomes: • Identify and validate the beachhead segment within 4 months, with primary market research from 50+ creators and 50+ fans, not desk research. • Ship the first paid version of the product to 5–10 reference customers in month 6, with documented evidence that they get value and would refer peers. • Hit a defined product-market-fit threshold by month 12 (Sean Ellis 40%+ or equivalent), with cohort retention and unit economics that justify scale-up investment. • Build a core team across product, engineering, growth, and creator partnerships, recruited against the strategic plan you set. Heavily leveraging new AI/Technology stack.
• Own strategy end-to-end, from beachhead selection to follow-on market expansion. • Run primary market research personally, especially in the first six months. Don't delegate customer conversations. • Define and test the riskiest assumptions before scaling spend, using MVBPs and concierge-mode experiments where appropriate. • Set and defend the business model, pricing, and unit economics. Make tradeoffs explicit. • Hire the founding team, set the operating cadence, and protect the squad from premature scaling pressure. • Partner with the LiveOps, New Games, and Music App leads on shared infrastructure, content, and audience handoffs. • Report progress against milestones to the CEO and board with the same honesty you'd want from a co-founder.
Must Have: • Built a product or business from zero to material revenue, either as a founder or as the first business lead inside a larger company. • Comfort with two-sided markets. You understand why supply and demand have to be solved together, and you've done it. • A real customer-discovery practice. You can describe your last 20 user interviews and what you changed because of them. • Fluency in the unit economics that matter: LTV, CAC, payback, cohort retention. You don't outsource these to finance. • Track record of recruiting senior people into ambiguous, early-stage work and keeping them. • You get more energy from making your team better than from being the smartest person in the room. Nice to Have: • Have shipped in the creator economy, music tech, social, or live entertainment. • Have led a P&L in Southeast Asia, especially Vietnam, Indonesia, or the Philippines. • Have raised external capital or built an internal business case strong enough to clear an IPO-track board.
At Amanotes, you will be enjoying the dynamic working environment with unique music culture many benefits as below: • Competitive salary upon experience • 13th month salary • Year-end Bonus and ESOP • Flexible working time • Personal learning and well-being budget • Team-building budget • Lunch and parking allowance • Various learning activities, including internal training & sharing, international conferences, and e-learning (Udemy, LinkedIn Learning...). • Engaging music events: Music Night, Amasing Night, Music schools… • Employee Assistance Program to support mental health & well-being. • 12 days of paid annual leave, plus 10 days of paid sick leave. • 12 days working from home per year.
