BASIC FUNCTION:
Responds in a professional, polite, and helpful manner when dealing with customers.
Works directly with building staff and supervisors to help keep the facility clean, safe, and operational.
Performs general facility maintenance and basic repairs under supervision.
Assists with minor repairs to building equipment and systems.
Helps ensure client satisfaction.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists with basic maintenance and upkeep of building systems and equipment.
Performs general maintenance duties such as light fixture replacement, minor repairs, and basic troubleshooting.
Uses hand and power tools safely to complete basic repair and maintenance tasks.
Completes assigned preventative maintenance tasks as directed by supervisor.
Learns to use the CMMS program to log and support work performed.
Learns, understands, and complies with fire, safety, and other emergency practices. Informs supervisor of any condition observed to be unsafe.
Assists with basic upkeep of lighting and other building components as directed.
Records basic maintenance activity in building logbooks.
Assists with surface preparation and painting, minor drywall repair, and general cleanup tasks.
Helps maintain maintenance inventory and notifies supervisor when supplies are running low.
Assists in emergencies as needed and under supervisor direction.
Returns all work areas to a clean, neat, orderly, and safe condition.
Participates in training directed at job-related skills and safety compliance.
