Role Overview
The Manager Affiliate will lead and scale affiliate marketing strategies across key client accounts within WPP Media. This role is responsible for driving performance growth through affiliate partnerships, publisher development, commercial negotiation, campaign optimization, and cross-functional collaboration.
The ideal candidate has strong experience in performance marketing, affiliate ecosystems, commercial strategy, and stakeholder management within an agency or digital performance environment.
 
Key Responsibilities


• Affiliate Strategy & Planning



• Develop full-funnel affiliate strategies aligned with client business objectives.

• Identify growth opportunities across publishers, networks, influencers, and commerce platforms.

• Build annual and quarterly affiliate roadmaps with clear KPIs (ROI, ROAS, CPA, revenue contribution).

• Align affiliate strategy with Paid Media, Social, Search, Programmatic, and Commerce teams.



• Publisher & Network Management



• Build and maintain strong relationships with affiliate networks and direct publishers.

• Negotiate commercial terms, commission structures, tenancy placements, and exclusive deals.

• Identify, onboard, and activate new high-performing partners.

• Manage performance tracking, attribution alignment, and compliance monitoring.



• Campaign Optimization & Performance Management



• Monitor daily/weekly performance and optimize toward revenue and efficiency targets.

• Analyze data trends and provide actionable insights to clients and internal teams.

• Conduct A/B testing on commission models, creatives, placements, and landing pages.

• Ensure accurate tracking implementation and resolve discrepancies.



• Client Leadership & Reporting



• Act as the main affiliate lead in client meetings and QBRs.

• Present performance analysis, growth opportunities, and investment recommendations.

• Build strong client trust through strategic thinking and commercial understanding.

• Translate complex data into clear business storytelling.



• Team Management



• Manage and mentor Executives/Senior Executives in affiliate operations.

• Ensure team productivity, clear workload distribution, and professional development.

• Establish best practices and SOPs for affiliate processes.



• Commercial & Revenue Growth



• Identify upselling opportunities across affiliate and performance channels.

• Contribute to new business pitches and performance strategy proposals.

• Support revenue forecasting and profitability management.

Qualifications & Experience


• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communication, or related field.

• 4–6+ years of experience in Affiliate Marketing / Performance Marketing.

• Experience working in advertising/media agency environment is highly preferred.

• Strong understanding of affiliate platforms

• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets.

• Familiar with tracking tools, attribution models, and performance dashboards.

• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
