- Supervise, mentor, and develop a team handling AR, RTR, and month-end closing.
- Assign tasks, set performance goals, and monitor team efficiency and accuracy.
- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss challenges and drive continuous improvements.
- Provide training and coaching to ensure high standards of financial performance.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align team objectives with organizational goals.
- Supervise cash applications & BRS.
- Monitor AR aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Ensure customer invoicing accuracy and adherence to contracts.
- Implement strategies to improve cash flow and reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding).
- Ensure accurate recording and reporting of financial transactions.
- Manage general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, and accruals.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Review financial statements and reports to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations for multiple accounts.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and automate financial processes.
- Work with automation teams to enhance ERP and accounting software efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce manual efforts.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle, or other financial software).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in financial operations, including AR, RTR, and closing activities.
- Prior experience in a leadership role managing a finance team.
- Experience in process transitions and financial migrations is a must.
- Hands-on experience with financial ERPs and reconciliation tools.
- Ability to work across different shifts based on business needs.
- Flexibility to handle urgent financial tasks outside regular working hours.
- Willingness to collaborate with global teams in different time zones.
