Role Overview:
Verition is seeking a motivated Operations Associate to join its Cash & Position Reconciliation team. The Associate will be responsible for daily cash and position reconciliation across a high volume of transactions, multiple accounts, counterparties, and asset classes, leveraging a suite of internal and third-party systems. You will work closely with Trading, Technology, and other Operations teams to ensure accuracy and timely resolution of breaks.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cash and position reconciliations across internal systems, external platforms, and Prime Brokers.
- Investigate, analyze, and resolve high-volume reconciliation breaks across multiple platforms and systems.
- Escalate and drive timely resolution of outstanding breaks.
- Maintain accurate transaction records across internal and third-party systems.
- Identify process gaps and partner with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement solutions.
- Respond to queries and ad hoc requests from Trading, Technology, and other Operations teams in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 3+ years of operations or financial services experience; exposure to Equities, Credit, Derivatives, and/or Rates a plus.
- Experience with DUCO or similar reconciliation tools preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of intellectual curiosity, strong work ethic, and a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced, and dynamic environment.
- Collaborative team player comfortable working across Trading, Technology, and Operations functions.
Salary Range
$100,000 — $125,000 USD
