The role leads the successful delivery of strategic initiatives that support organisational objectives and deliver measurable value. It requires strong delivery leadership, governance, risk management and stakeholder engagement, with hands-on experience applying project management principles and delivery methodologies at scale.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading end-to-end project delivery , defining scope, objectives, success measures, delivery plans, timelines, resources and dependencies.
  • Driving governance and accountability , ensuring projects remain on track, within scope and budget, with clear reporting and escalation pathways.
  • Leading cross-functional teams and workstreams , coordinating business, IT and vendor stakeholders to maintain delivery momentum and clear priorities.
  • Managing project risks, issues, dependencies and change , proactively addressing bottlenecks and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
  • Engaging and communicating with senior stakeholders , supporting change management, operational readiness and successful adoption of project outcomes.
  • 5+ years’ experience delivering complex, end-to-end IT projects and multi-stream initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of business applications, integrations and data migration .
  • Hands-on experience across Agile, Waterfall and hybrid methodologies .
  • Strong stakeholder, vendor management, communication and project planning skills.
  • Project management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, CSM) and ideally experience in the Australian/New Zealand education sector .
