Your Impact
As a Risk Manager you will own the risk management framework for Unlimit's business. You will be the connective tissue between regulatory expectation and day-to-day operational reality, ensuring the company operates safely, compliantly, and at the speed the business demands.
You will play a critical role in maintaining and evolving the second line of defence — designing risk methodologies, monitoring exposures, and giving the Board and senior management a clear, honest view of the risks the business carries. Working at the intersection of finance, technology, and digital-asset infrastructure, you will help shape how a fast-scaling fintech manages risk.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a rigorous risk professional with a track record in regulated financial services, and deep familiarity with the Cypriot and EU regulatory landscape.
Proven experience in risk management within a regulated financial institution — ideally covering both crypto/digital-asset (CASP) and e-money or payments activities
Strong working knowledge of the MiCA, PSD2, EMD2 and related national law
Solid understanding of the full risk taxonomy across fintech business: operational, credit, liquidity, market, conduct, technology/ICT (DORA), and financial-crime (AML/CFT) risk
Experience designing and maintaining risk management frameworks, risk appetite statements, capital and liquidity assessments, and risk registers
Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical controls, policies, and monitoring across digital-asset custody, settlement, and safeguarding of client funds
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to quantify exposures and present risk clearly to Boards, regulators, and non-specialist stakeholders
Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth, and globally distributed organisations, balancing control with commercial pace
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with compliance, finance, product, engineering, and operations teams
