The role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented CASS Operations Analyst to join our
team and help build and maintain robust processes whilst ensuring operational activities
run smoothly and deliver a seamless customer experience.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Reconciliation Management:
- Perform daily reconciliations for client money and safe custody assets;
- Identify and investigate discrepancies, variances, and anomalies in reconciliation processes;
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyse financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness of records
- Use internal systems and software tools to extract, manipulate, and analyse large datasets.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements throughout reconciliation processes
- Support the preparation of regulatory submissions, management information, and audit requests.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of reconciliation activities.
- Assist in drafting and updating procedural manuals and internal guidelines.
Risk & Controls Management:
- Assist in assessing and mitigating risks associated with reconciliation and CASS processes
- Participate in risk assessments and contribute to enhancements in the risk management framework.
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE
- Bachelor's degree in relevant subject.
- An appetite for AI tools and automation where you'd rather build a smarter process than repeat the same task twice.
- A passion for continuous improvement where you're never quite satisfied with “good enough” when there's a smarter way forward.
- A creative and methodical approach to problem-solving, with a talent for cutting through complexity to find the most effective path forward.
- Strong analytical and organisational skills, paired with the ability to communicate complex ideas in a straightforward and engaging way.
- Someone who takes initiative but also values the benefits of collaboration within a team.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative and follow through without needing to be chased.
- Some exposure to financial services, operations or a related field, whether through work, study or personal interest.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python and/or other programming languages.
