Due to an internal move, we have an excellent position become available as a Workforce Analyst to join our team and work closely with the Workforce Planning Lead and wider business to ensure our stores are set up for success, every hour of every day.

This is an opportunity to play a key role behind the scenes, shaping how we plan, measure and optimise workforce performance across our network of more than 180 stores. You will combine financial analytics, collaboration and commercial insight to help ensure our stores are resourced to deliver at their best.

A bit about the role:

  • Provide financial analysis on store performance, month-end results and future trends.
  • Ensure stores have the right people in the right place at the right time to deliver operational excellence.
  • Make recommendations to senior stakeholders on opportunities to improve store labour performance.
  • Work with Finance teams to produce operationally sound budget targets for stores.
  • Support the ongoing success of the Workforce Scheduling and Time and Attendance system.
  • Support the maintenance of a labour model that assesses store capacity and workload at any given time, continuously reviewing the scheduling model to enable smarter, more efficient rostering.
  • Partner with the wider Operations team to test and validate model assumptions.
  • Monitor performance against labour allocations, identifying variances, trends and opportunities.
  • Deliver clear, insight-led reporting to support decision-making across the Operations team.
  • Previous experience in workforce planning or workforce analysis, preferably within a multi-site retail environment.
  • A collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively with key stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical capability, including advanced Excel skills and experience using Power BI.
  • Confidence translating data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Strong commercial awareness and communication skills.
  • A continuous improvement mindset, with a focus on driving better outcomes.
