What we do:

The Global Commercial Finance team plays a critical role in supporting revenue-generating activities by ensuring deals are structured in a financially sound and compliant manner. We collaborate with Sales, Operations, Legal, FP&A, Revenue Accounting, and other cross-functional partners to review and guide complex, non-standard deals. Our goal is to align deals with company policies, pricing guidelines, and ASC 606 revenue recognition standards while mitigating risk and improving margins.

What you'll do:

  • Lead and manage the Los Angeles Commercial Finance team, providing coaching and oversight for consistent, high-quality evaluations.
  • Review and structure complex, non-standard deals to ensure compliance with financial policies and strategic objectives; escalate high-risk issues as needed.
  • Evaluate customer contract escalations for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Develop and implement scalable processes and internal controls for deal review and contract evaluation; train the team on these processes.
  • Maintain documentation on pricing policies, deal structures, and best practices.
  • Assess financial impact of deals in the pipeline, identify revenue triggers, and partner with Sales, FP&A, and Revenue Accounting for timely insights.
  • Drive initiatives to streamline operations, reduce cycle times, and improve collaboration with Sales and Finance teams.
  • Act independently on strategic projects, providing actionable recommendations to senior leadership.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field; CPA or equivalent preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in Commercial Finance or Accounting, including 2+ years of people management.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP; technical accounting experience a plus.
  • Prior managerial experience required.
  • Familiarity with Contract Lifecycle Management systems (e.g., DocuSign CLM), Salesforce, CPQ tools, and ERP systems.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and implement scalable processes.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
