Lead the transformation of software delivery for the world's leading financial institutions by combining strategic vision, technology expertise, and exceptional client leadership.

The Role

As an AI Transformation Managing Principal, you will lead strategic engagements focused on modernizing Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) capabilities across global financial services organizations. You will partner with senior client executives to shape transformation strategies, improve engineering effectiveness, and deliver measurable business outcomes while growing Capco's Technology & Engineering practice.

You will play a key leadership role in developing client relationships, originating new business opportunities, mentoring consulting teams, and delivering complex technology transformation programmes across the banking and capital markets landscape.

What You'll Do

  • Lead large-scale SDLC transformation engagements for leading financial services clients, from strategy through execution.
  • Build trusted relationships with C-suite and senior technology stakeholders, providing strategic advice on engineering transformation and delivery excellence.
  • Drive business development by identifying opportunities, developing proposals, and supporting sales pursuits across Technology & Engineering.
  • Lead and develop multidisciplinary consulting teams, fostering collaboration, professional growth, and delivery excellence.
  • Shape Capco's market offerings by contributing thought leadership, methodologies, and innovative solutions aligned to evolving client needs.

What We're Looking For

  • 10 or more years of experience in consulting, software engineering transformation, or technology delivery, including substantial experience advising financial services organizations.
  • A strong record of leading enterprise SDLC, software engineering, application modernization, DevSecOps, quality engineering, developer experience transformation, and enterprise AI transformation programs. Deep knowledge of modern software engineering practices, including Agile delivery, DevSecOps, CI/CD, cloud-native development, platform engineering, software architecture, quality engineering, observability, engineering governance, and AI-assisted software development.
  • Experience defining or delivering enterprise AI, GenAI, intelligent automation, and Spec-Driven Development (SDD) strategies, with the ability to evaluate AI use cases across the SDLC and translate them into credible value cases, implementation plans, operating-model changes, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience working within regulated technology environments, including technology risk, cybersecurity, data privacy, AI governance, operational resilience, and control requirements, with demonstrated success developing senior client relationships, leading consulting pursuits, and achieving sales and revenue objectives.
  • Strong executive communication and leadership skills, with experience managing multidisciplinary teams across business, engineering, architecture, security, risk, operations, and executive leadership, and the ability to connect business strategy, emerging AI capabilities, engineering practices, and delivery execution.

  • Experience leading enterprise-scale cloud, platform engineering, or digital transformation programmes.
  • Knowledge of AI-enabled software engineering, intelligent automation, or emerging engineering productivity capabilities.
  • Industry certifications in Agile, Cloud, Product Management, Architecture, or Project Delivery.
  • Established network within the financial services technology community.
