Our client is seeking an experienced Assembler. As an Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling components using various hand tools, rivets, nuts, bolts, aircraft hardware, and other materials. Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and a strong work ethic are essential for success in this role. 
The proposed salary range for this position is up to $35/hr. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.

• Drive the culture of the Environmental, Health, Safety, and Quality (EHSQ) program across the site while promoting accountability, compliance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. • Support oversight of facility maintenance, preventative maintenance activities, and infrastructure related repairs to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant site operations in support of manufacturing and fabrication activities. • Support implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the EH&S and AS9100D Quality Management Systems (QMS). • Serve as site lead for AS9100D compliance activities including internal audits, corrective actions, risk management, document control, management review support, and external registrar/customer audits. • Organize, maintain, and continuously improve assigned EH&S and QMS policies, procedures, and work instructions to achieve and maintain compliance with all applicable regulations, customer requirements, and aerospace industry standards. • Lead the site EH&S Council and support cross-functional quality and compliance initiatives. • Oversight for all applicable federal, state, local, and company EH&S regulations and programs including LOTO, electrical safety, machine guarding, elevated work, confined space, industrial hygiene, risk assessment, blood borne pathogens, powered industrial vehicles, respirator protection, and hearing conservation. • Manage a robust environmental program including wastewater permitting, RCRA waste management, air permitting, storm water no exposure certification, and x-ray registrations. • Coordinate Workers’ Compensation processes, first aid response, injury reporting, root cause investigations, and corrective action implementation. • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on EH&S performance, operational excellence, quality compliance, corrective/preventive actions (CAPA), environmental protection projects, conservation activities, and integration of EHSQ initiatives into overall business operations. • Interface with government agencies, customers, and third-party auditors to maintain regulatory and AS9100D compliance including audits, annual reports, permit applications, and corrective action responses. • Work with Human Resources and Operations leadership to implement required EH&S and QMS training programs. • Conduct safety and quality inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify gaps, implement corrective actions, and sustain safe and compliant work practices. • Support implementation of facility, process, and equipment changes ensuring EH&S and quality compliance requirements are met. • Ensure organizational and government restrictions, policies, and aerospace quality standards are followed to maintain compliance and operational integrity. • Implement new or modified plans in response to delays, site emergencies, audit findings, or operational risks. • Inspect and review projects to evaluate compliance with building codes, safety requirements, environmental regulations, and quality standards to ensure a safe and compliant workplace. • Participate in cross-functional teams to ensure facility safety, quality system effectiveness, and site security. • Assist with managing site contractors, inspecting work areas, coordinating activities with affected departments, and ensuring contractor compliance with EH&S and QMS requirements. • Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Facilities, and Quality teams to ensure all work and projects comply with contractual & internal procedures and regulatory requirements for high and low-risk activities. • Plan, organize, and schedule activities including maintenance, construction, renovation, repairs, and space planning to ensure proper facility functionality and compliance. • Assess work scopes and repairs to determine when activities should be managed internally or externally through contractors. • Work closely with global security teams to ensure physical security controls are functional and the site remains secure.
Clearance: Active Secret Clearance Education and Years of Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. A minimum of five (5) years of Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) experience is required, supported by applicable training, certifications. • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and EH&S compliance requirements within manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial environments. • Working knowledge and implementation experience with AS9100D Quality Management Systems in aerospace, defense, or regulated manufacturing environments. • Experience leading internal audits, root cause investigations, corrective/preventive actions (CAPA), risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives within AS9100D or ISO-based systems. • Experience supporting customer, regulatory, and third-party certification audits. • Experience working within aerospace, defense, or highly regulated manufacturing environments strongly preferred.
