To support this mission, Syngenta’s Treasury team is seeking a Front Office Treasury Analyst in Montevideo, Uruguay. This role will support the Front Office Treasury team in safeguarding liquidity, cash visibility and FX exposure management for Syngenta’s key Brazilian entities. The role combines daily execution, analytical judgement and cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic, high-exposure environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Manage daily cash positions and liquidity for assigned Brazilian entities, ensuring timely funding and availability of funds.
  • Prepare short- and medium-term cash forecasts and support funding and financing decisions.
  • Execute and monitor significant FX transactions; analyze treasury-process impacts on exposure and support proactive hedging actions.
  • Act as the Global point of contact for weekly and monthly cash reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and stakeholder alignment.
  • Maintain effective operational relationships with banks and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide operational back-up across regional activities and contribute to a resilient, cross-trained team.
  • Contribute to Customer Centricity, system migrations, digitalization and other global or local treasury initiatives.
  • Support audit requirements, internal controls and compliance standards.

Required :

  • 5–7 years of relevant experience in Treasury.
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline.
  • Solid treasury and cash-management knowledge, including exposure and hedging concepts.
  • Advanced English.
  • Hands-on experience with cash forecasting, liquidity management, FX exposure and/or banking operations is strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and stakeholder-management skills, with a proactive and control-minded approach.

Desired:

  • Data management; experience with Treasury Management Systems or ERP tools is an advantage.
  • Advanced Portuguese is a plus,
