Core Responsibilities
1. Cloud Ship Room Process Assessment
- Assess current ship room workflows across:
- M365 public cloud regions
- Sovereign cloud environments
- Identify fragmentation, duplication, and inconsistencies across teams.
- Evaluate the feasibility and value of consolidating ship room processes.
- Identify best practices that can be transferred between execution models.
2. Public vs. Sovereign Cloud Operating Model Analysis
- Compare architectural and operational differences between:
- Public cloud build‑outs
- Sovereign cloud build‑outs
- Highlight where execution models must diverge vs. where standardization is realistic.
- Provide clarity on process, governance, and operating model differences, not deep technical design.
3. Security & Privacy Engineering Maturity Evaluation
- Assess security and privacy engineering maturity across cloud build initiatives.
- Identify:
- Maturity gaps
- Lack of dedicated security/privacy support
- Areas where teams are under‑resourced or immature
- Provide recommendations for dedicated support teams and operating model improvements.
