What you'll do

Own the end-to-end product experience of SumUp's super app and web dashboard, raising the bar on UX quality, information architecture, and navigation across core merchant-facing surfaces

Identify and execute on activation, upsell, cross-sell, and retention opportunities that drive measurable engagement and long-term value for merchants

Proven track record as a Staff-level IC or equivalent, leading multiple squads or workstreams simultaneously and driving measurable outcomes across engagement, retention, or monetisation

Deep expertise in product discovery, prioritisation, and outcome-driven delivery, with the ability to work fluently with data — defining metrics, interpreting analysis, and using quantitative signals to inform decisions

Strong technical fluency across platform and infrastructure-adjacent topics, comfortable going deep on build pipelines, platform architecture, and developer tooling with senior engineers

Strong visual and UX judgement, with experience leading customer research — from discovery interviews to usability testing — and giving clear, constructive feedback to design teams
