We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Product Marketing Specialist to join our growing Marketing team and own our GTM enablement efforts, among other responsibilities. In this role, you will work directly with the Sr. Product Marketing Manager and collaborate with internal teams to become an expert on our customers and their needs to help bring our brand and product positioning to life across the entire customer journey.

The ideal candidate possesses a blend of product marketing experience in fintech with a deep understanding of B2C SaaS and/or the real estate landscape.

You will work in a highly collaborative environment while getting the autonomy to help shape how product marketing helps enable internal teams (like Sales and Partnerships) and delivers Baselane’s unique value to our customers. To be successful, you’ll be an expert in context switching, managing multiple deliverables across teams at once, and prioritization.

This role is a hybrid role based in Toronto. It is expected that you will come to the office (downtown Toronto) twice a week for meetings and working sessions.

Support the onboarding of, and go-to-market strategy for, new partners, providing support to spin up new partnership channels

Provide the necessary training and collateral that enables partners and internal teams to best position and sell Baselane to prospective users

Conduct market and customer research, via interviews and surveys, to develop a deep understanding of both

Partner with the Product team throughout the development cycle to conduct research and create launch strategies and plans for new products or features

Work with the Brand team in developing various pieces of customer-facing collateral as needed throughout the customer lifecycle

Oversee the creation creation of internal and external enablement material to help sales activate new customers

Deeply understand our market, competitors, and customers through research to identify differentiated positioning, messaging and product opportunities

You bring 2-4 years of experience in product marketing

You have worked closely with external partners to drive customer growth collaboratively

You have experience in ideating and overseeing the creation of enablement material, like pitch decks, one-pagers, and cold outreach communications

You are able to strategize and help execute product and feature launches for multiple functions

You understand and can articulate how new products, features, campaigns and customer-facing initiatives fit within the broader brand and positioning strategy

You excel in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration, knowing when to lean-in and pushback on ad hoc requests

You use data-driven decision-making skills to explain your impact and inform what to do next

You are comfortable with project management and collaboration tools like Asana and Notion

You can communicate internally and provide guidance that is clear and concise, both written and verbally

You are able to join us in our Toronto office 2 days a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays)

You have a foundational understanding of product marketing best practices and know how to apply them in a fintech B2C environment

Experience leveraging AI tools to translate positioning and messaging into clear and consistent customer-facing copy across multiple channels

Experience working in a growth stage startup environment, bonus points for working in the fintech or real estate tech space

Familiarity with tools like Sigma, Mixpanel, Miro and Figma
