Robots & Pencils is seeking a Junior Fullstack Engineer to join our growing team. You'll contribute to building a greenfield web application alongside an experienced dev team, helping ship real features to real users. This is a great opportunity for a commercially experienced developer to grow in a fast-moving, client-facing environment.
In February 2025, we opened our new office in Lviv, Ukraine, as part of our ongoing global growth. You'll collaborate with a distributed team working on high-impact products with colleagues across North and South America and Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement frontend features in React (built on RadixUI) with clean, maintainable code.
- Contribute to C#/.NET backend development and RESTful APIs.
- Work closely with senior engineers, designers, and product stakeholders to understand requirements and success criteria.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and QA reviews.
- Communicate progress and blockers clearly in an agile environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2–3 years of commercial software development experience.
- Hands-on experience with React and modern frontend tooling.
- Working knowledge of C# and .NET backend development.
- Familiarity with component libraries (experience with RadixUI or similar is a plus).
- Understanding of REST APIs and client–server architecture.
- Experience working in agile/scrum teams with CI/CD workflows.
- Upper-intermediate English, written and spoken.
Nice to Have
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Exposure to design systems and accessibility best practices.
- Familiarity with cloud deployment (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
