PATH is seeking candidates passionate about helping others make a positive change in their lives to join our Health Services team as the CalAIM Program Administrator.

ABOUT PATH
Since its foundation in 1984, PATH (People Assisting The Homeless) has pioneered bold and effective approaches to assist people experiencing homelessness. PATH operates services throughout California, connecting our clients to a comprehensive continuum of homelessness prevention, street outreach, employment preparation and placement assistance, individualized case management, supportive services, interim housing, and permanent supportive housing.

ABOUT THE JOB
The CalAIM Program Administrator serves as a critical operational backbone for the organization's statewide CalAIM initiatives, including Housing Trio, Enhanced Care Management (ECM), and Recuperative Care/STPHH programs. This position is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of program administration, including purchasing, billing, data management, referral processing, Medi-Cal eligibility verification, and compliance reporting. Position Responsibilities include:

  • Purchasing & Financial Administration
  • Manage non-TFA (Temporary Financial Assistance) purchasing for flex funding and office

supplies, including coordination of Lyft rides for program participants

  • Process and track CalAIM Housing Deposits, including security deposit payments and

related financial documentation

  • Utilize purchasing platforms including Divvy and Procurify to manage and track all

purchasing activities

  • Process security deposits in compliance with program policies and Managed Care Plan

(MCP) requirements

  • Conduct verification analysis for security deposits, including review of:
  • Property Intelligence reports
  • Rent Reasonableness assessments
  • W-9 documentation
  • Promissory Notes
  • Intent to Rent documentation
  • Manage Temporary Financial Assistance (TFA) requests and processing in coordination with

Finance and Administrative teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish or other languages

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate's degree or higher in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, Social Services, or a related field; equivalent work experience will be considered
  • Two (2) years of experience in program administration, healthcare operations, Medi-Cal/Medicaid programs, or a related field

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
Regardless of qualifications, candidates must:

  • Have employment eligibility verification
  • Have or be able and willing to obtain CPR/First Aid training
  • Successfully complete the following as a condition of hire:
  • Tuberculosis Test
  • Background Screening
  • Drug Test

DRIVING
Driving is an essential function of this position. To meet the employment requirements for this role, all candidates must:

  • Have reliable transportation
  • A valid driver’s license
  • Proof of insurance and ownership for personal vehicles used during work duties
  • The ability to qualify for PATH's insurance coverage

While some roles may include a schedule that involves multiple designated worksites or approved off-site locations (e.g., hybrid schedules) , this does not imply that work will be performed from home. Many positions are fully on-site with no off-site work. All work schedules are determined by the responsibilities of the role and operational requirements, and may be adjusted at any time.
