Nextiva is seeking an   Outbound Senior Technical Product Manager to lead the   healthcare vertical strategy, bridging the gap between   product, engineering, and the market. This role is ideal for someone who is equally comfortable   diving deep into APIs and data models as they are   presenting to CIOs, CMIOs, and IT decision-makers.

You’ll define the product vision and roadmap for Nextiva’s   healthcare communication platform, driving integrations with   EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, etc.) and shaping the go-to-market strategy for our healthcare offerings.

Your success will be measured by your ability to   translate technical innovation into customer value, influence the roadmap through market insights, and enable the sales and customer success teams with clear, differentiated messaging.

Key Responsibilities:

Market and Customer Engagement

  • Act as the   voice of the market — continuously gather insights from healthcare providers, IT admins, and care teams to shape product priorities
  • Partner closely with   sales, solutions engineering, and marketing to craft compelling narratives for healthcare buyers
  • Support enterprise and strategic sales cycles by   demonstrating product capabilities, mapping integration architectures, and articulating value to both technical and clinical stakeholders
  • Define and validate   healthcare use cases and business outcomes tied to Nextiva’s communication and AI capabilities

Product and Technical Strategy

  • Own the   healthcare product roadmap and strategy, balancing technical feasibility, customer demand, and business impact
  • Define and launch   EHR integration capabilities, leveraging   FHIR, HL7, SMART on FHIR, and   Epic App Orchard APIs
  • Collaborate with engineering to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant integrations and SaaS workflows tailored for healthcare organizations
  • Drive   platform extensibility, working across internal product teams to align APIs, provisioning, analytics, and multi-tenant administration capabilities with healthcare-specific requirements
  • Ensure   compliance with HIPAA, HITRUST, and SOC 2, partnering with InfoSec and Legal to maintain healthcare-grade standards

Go-to-Market and Enablement

  • Partner with Product Marketing to position Nextiva’s healthcare solutions and create technical content such as   whitepapers, demos, and integration guides
  • Enable Sales, Customer Success, and Implementation teams through   training, launch briefings, and product documentation
  • Track and analyze   market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory developments to inform future product strategy
  • Serve as a   thought leader in healthcare communication technology, representing Nextiva at industry events, webinars, and customer advisory boards

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of product management experience in   SaaS, cloud, or communications platforms, with at least   3+ years in healthcare technology
  • Proven success   shipping SaaS products or integrations serving healthcare customers (e.g., EHR, CRM, or patient engagement platforms)
  • Strong technical background — familiar with   API design, integration patterns, authentication, and data security
  • Hands-on experience with   EHR APIs and data standards (FHIR, HL7, Epic App Orchard, SMART on FHIR)
  • Deep understanding of   healthcare operations, workflows, and compliance (HIPAA, HITRUST, PHI)
  • Exceptional communication skills — able to translate complex technical details into customer and business outcomes
  • Demonstrated success working with   cross-functional teams spanning engineering, design, marketing, and go-to-market
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)

Bonus Points

  • Prior experience as a   Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Technical Consultant supporting healthcare SaaS products
  • Background in   CPaaS, CCaaS, or UCaaS product management
  • Familiarity with   AI-driven workflows and automation in patient engagement or healthcare communication
  • Experience with   multi-tenant SaaS platforms, enterprise provisioning, and API ecosystems
  • Certifications in   Agile, Scrum, or SAFe frameworks
