About this role
• Are you looking for a hands-on marketing role where you can make an immediate difference — taking ownership of the operational tasks that keep a high-performing marketing team moving at pace?
• Do you enjoy variety, pick up new tools quickly and take pride in getting things done accurately and efficiently — whether that's publishing content, supporting a campaign launch or pulling together a performance report?
The Marketing Analyst will be a versatile, reliable presence within Modulr's marketing function — working across the team, picking up operational and analytical tasks. From managing our HubSpot CMS and publishing workflow through to supporting campaign execution and producing regular performance reports, you will touch most areas of the function and build a broad foundation for a marketing career.
Who We Are
Modulr is the payments automation platform that streamlines money movement with accuracy, control and reliability — built to scale. We process more than 200m transactions and over £180bn in payment value on an annualised basis, and we're trusted by over 6,000 businesses from fast-growing SMEs to global enterprises.
We automate how money moves into and out of a business — payroll, supplier payments, spend management and payment collection — through a single platform, connected to the accounting and payroll systems finance teams already use and underpinned by principal memberships of Visa and Mastercard and direct access to central bank infrastructure.
As a regulated payments provider with over a decade of experience, we're the platform finance teams trust to run mission-critical operations. Modulr is backed by PayPal, FIS, General Atlantic, Blenheim Chalcot, Frog Capital and Highland Europe, with over 400 employees across London, Edinburgh, Amsterdam, Mumbai and Pune.

What you'll do
You will own operational and analytical work that keeps the function running. You will work across content, demand generation, campaigns and comms, supporting different team members on different days and building genuine breadth across the marketing discipline.
• Own the end-to-end HubSpot content publishing workflow — formatting and uploading articles and case studies, managing all metadata (URL slugs, meta descriptions, categories, image alt text), adding structured data markup, generating and reviewing audio narrations, running SEO and link validation checks, and co-ordinating with the social team to ensure content goes out accurately and on time.
• Work through and maintain the HubSpot CMS backlog — updating and improving existing published articles and case studies, removing redundant or empty content, and ensuring the site's published pages consistently meet technical and SEO standards.
• Support campaign and email publishing across the team — assisting with the operational steps required to build, test, schedule and launch campaigns and emails in HubSpot, ensuring accurate tagging, tracking and attribution throughout.
• Produce regular marketing performance reports — pulling data from HubSpot, Google Analytics and paid channels to track traffic, content engagement, email performance and lead generation metrics, and presenting findings clearly for the team.
• Support PR and thought leadership publishing — helping the comms team get articles, press pieces and executive content live accurately and efficiently, following the same quality and SEO standards applied across the rest of the site.
• Maintain data quality across marketing systems — keeping contact records, campaign tags, lifecycle stages and attribution data clean and consistently structured in HubSpot, so that reporting across the function remains reliable.
• Pick up ad hoc tasks from across the marketing team — providing responsive, accurate support on data pulls, content updates, tool administration and any other operational needs that arise across a fast-moving function.
What you'll need
You will be an organised, data driven individual who thrives on variety, takes pride in precision and is genuinely excited about building a broad marketing skillset from the inside of a scaling fintech.
• Hands-on experience with HubSpot (CMS, email or CRM), Google Analytics or similar tools.
• Exceptional attention to detail — able to follow multi-step processes accurately and consistently, catching errors others miss and maintaining quality even when juggling several tasks at once.
• A working understanding of SEO basics — including metadata, on-page optimisation and content structure — or a clear desire to develop this knowledge quickly on the job.
• Comfortable with data — able to pull reports, read marketing metrics and summarise performance clearly, without needing every step to be prescribed.
• Clear written communication skills in English — able to write accurate metadata, alt text, reporting commentary and process notes to a consistently high standard.
• Collaborative and adaptable — happy to work across multiple teams, switch contexts and take direction from different stakeholders, all while staying organised and on top of your workload.
• Self-sufficient and proactive — able to manage a backlog of tasks independently, ask sensible questions when genuinely stuck, and take initiative without waiting to be told what to do next.
