The Tandem Line Team Lead, Stamping is responsible for leading and overseeing tandem line operations, ensuring precision manufacturing of stamped parts while maintaining world-class quality, safety standards, and operational efficiency across the stamping production area.

You Will:

  • Plan and Operate Tandem Press line for precision manufacturing of Stamping parts.
  • Select and configure proper Production schedule as per plan.
  • Ability to utilize Siemens HMI screens to perform diagnostics and resolve machine faults.
  • Lead/execute automatic Tandem Line and setting up the die sets on line for new jobs.
  • Set up and monitor machine performance to ensure quality and productivity.
  • Identify and report defective materials or operational issues to the supervisor.
  • Lead to continuous improvement efforts by identifying potential process improvements.
  • Lead/collaborate with team members to meet production goals and timelines.
  • Ability to troubleshoot Tandem lines throughout the plant
  • Experience working with Aluminum sheet metal and class-A surface parts for stamping parts
  • Willingness to assist in ensuring 6-S standards of housekeeping are maintained in Tandem Line area
  • Assists in ensuring safety standards and compliance with work rules are consistently followed throughout Tandem line
  • Report safety issues immediately to direct report
  • Report on production output, efficiency, scrap rates, and other key performance indicators to shop management.
  • Train and support the team members to develop their operational skills
  • Suggest and implement continuous improvement initiatives

You Bring:

  • Knowledge of safety and maintenance practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Technical associate degree in engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics).
  • 2–4 years of stamping experience (preferably laser blanking).
  • Experience with Tandem Press setup and operation.
