Role Purpose

The United States Olympic and Paralympic Properties (USOPP) is the commercial joint venture between LA28 and the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee, marketing the combined commercial assets of Team USA and the LA28 Games. As Manager, you lead the day-to-day relationship for a portfolio of commercial partners and turn contractual commitments into activations that deliver real value. You will help shape how these partnerships are managed in the years leading up to 2028, working across many teams. Their commercial success is what funds and powers the Games.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary account manager for multiple commercial partner teams, including brand leads, agencies, and marketing units.
  • Manage ongoing client engagement through meetings, conference calls, and written correspondence with partners.
  • Drive contractual deliverables and activation for clients and brands, coordinating with leadership and cross-functional departments.
  • Support delivery of partner Games-time contractual obligations, product integration supply rights, and Value in Kind obligations.
  • Track partnership efforts against key performance indicators, and liaise with peers at the IOC, IPC, USOPC, and National Governing Bodies.

Required Competencies

  • Minimum 5+ years of direct experience in sports business or a related marketing environment.
  • Hands-on experience developing and leading relationships with strategic partners, with strong operational and program execution skills.
  • Strong cross-functional skills and a capacity for creativity and innovation, with a solution-oriented mindset that finds win-win partner outcomes.
  • Excellent presentation preparation skills and the ability to work successfully with varied audiences, from colleagues to senior members of the organization.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, collaborating at all levels and communicating clearly to tight deadlines.

Valued Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in sports marketing, advertising, or communications preferred.
  • Equivalent professional work experience considered in place of a degree.
  • First-hand knowledge and experience within the sports marketing industry.
  • Experience in the Olympic or Paralympic Movements is a plus.

What We Offer

  • Ownership of partner relationships that shape the commercial success of the Games.
  • Cross-functional exposure across the organizing committee, the USOPC, and global brands.
  • A collaborative, mission-driven team of teammates building something historic together.
  • Transferable skills and career value earned through demanding, meaningful work.

  • The majority of work will be conducted in an office setting, requiring extended periods of time using computers, phones, and other office equipment.
  • The LA28 office is an open floorplan working environment; employees must be able to work efficiently in an open cubicle environment.
  • Hours of work may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak event periods.
  • Perform other duties as required; the role will evolve over time and may include operational responsibilities during the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
  • The role may require travel for events, partner meetings, and conferences, both domestically and internationally.
