Heartflow is a medical technology company advancing the diagnosis and management of coronary artery disease, the #1 cause of death worldwide, using cutting-edge technology. The flagship product—an AI-driven, non-invasive cardiac test supported by the ACC/AHA Chest Pain Guidelines called the Heartflow FFR CT  Analysis—provides a color-coded, 3D model of a patient’s coronary arteries indicating the impact blockages have on blood flow to the heart. Heartflow is the first AI-driven non-invasive integrated heart care solution across the CCTA pathway that helps clinicians identify stenoses in the coronary arteries (RoadMap™Analysis), assess coronary blood flow (FFR CT  Analysis), and characterize and quantify coronary atherosclerosis (Plaque Analysis). Our pipeline of products is growing and so is our team; join us in helping to revolutionize precision heartcare.

Heartflow is a publicly traded company (HTFL) that has received international recognition for exceptional strides in healthcare innovation, is supported by medical societies around the world, cleared for use in the US, UK, Europe, Japan and Canada, and has been used for more than 500,000 patients worldwide.

About the Role

As Senior Director, Program Management, you will lead cross-functional teams to drive the strategy, execution, and delivery of complex, high-stakes projects. You own the end-to-end program lifecycle — from initial scope and planning through final delivery — ensuring every cross-functional effort stays aligned with HeartFlow's long-term vision.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct multiple cross-functional program teams through the full lifecycle of complex initiatives, owning strategy, execution, and delivery.
  • Define program strategy, timelines, and resource plans that meet business objectives, and drive teams to execute against them.
  • Partner across functions to maintain alignment on priorities, dependencies, and decisions throughout each program.
  • Build and implement risk management and contingency plans to keep programs on track.
  • Communicate program status, priorities, and decisions clearly and consistently to team members and stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
  • Serve as the face of your program(s) to the executive leadership team, representing progress, risks, and outcomes.
  • Lead resolution of issues and conflicts within and across teams, escalating when appropriate.
  • Coach and develop team members, building a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced degree a plus.
  • 10+ years of program/project management experience, including 5+ years leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-workstream programs in a regulated industry (e.g., medical device or healthcare) strongly preferred.
  • Track record of delivering complex programs on time and within budget.

Skills & Competencies

  • Program Management Expertise: Applies hybrid methodologies to lead the full lifecycle of complex, high-stakes programs.
  • Influence Without Authority: Builds trust and drives cross-functional alignment across departments without direct reporting control.
  • Executive Communication: Communicates clearly through verbal, written, and visual means, tailored to the audience — including senior leadership.
  • Conflict Resolution: Navigates interpersonal and technical deadlocks to reach solutions that keep programs on track.
  • Strategic Risk Management: Proactively identifies program dependencies and builds contingency plans before they impact timeline or budget.
  • Executive Presence: Presents to senior leadership with confidence and clarity, translating technical milestones into business value.
  • Adaptive Leadership: Pivots strategy quickly in response to shifting market conditions or organizational priorities.

A reasonable estimate of the yearly base compensation range is $265,000-$315,000 , cash bonus, and equity. #LI-Hybrid
