The FirstSteps Team is inspired by the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to achieve their fullest potential. To that end, our mission is twofold: to provide the best evidence-based, behavior analytic treatment to our children diagnosed with autism and related learning differences, and to offer a positive, collaborative, and dynamic work experience for our team. If you're about to graduate, a recent grad or beginning your career in psychology, education, child development, special education, or a related field , FirstSteps is an opportunity to gain meaningful hands-on experience while building a career working with children.
As a Behavior Technician , you'll work one-on-one with children with autism in a supportive, play-based environment. You'll help children build communication, social, independence, and everyday life skills while developing practical skills in behavior, learning, and individualized intervention.
No ABA experience? That's okay. We'll teach you.
You'll receive paid training, hands-on mentorship, and ongoing support from experienced clinicians as you learn the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis and develop the skills to grow in the field.
