Summary: Are you a benefits expert who loves to help others thrive? We would be thrilled to have you join our team as a Benefits Specialist at Dough Re Mi Cafe and Bakery! With 3-5 years of experience in benefits administration, you'll be instrumental in designing and managing our exceptional benefits programs, ensuring our employees receive the support they need to shine both in and out of the workplace.
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with HR leadership to design, implement, and manage comprehensive benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
• Be the go-to person for employee inquiries about benefits eligibility, coverage, and claims, providing prompt and accurate assistance.
• Collaborate with external vendors and insurance providers to negotiate contracts, resolve issues, and ensure we meet all regulatory requirements.
• Regularly audit benefits data to ensure accuracy and compliance with our company policies and regulations.
• Create and deliver engaging benefits communication and education programs to boost employee understanding and participation.
• Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to keep our benefits programs competitive and compliant.
• Guide the annual open enrollment process, including plan design changes, communication strategies, and employee support.
• Offer guidance and support to employees navigating leave of absence, FMLA, and ADA accommodation processes.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in benefits administration, ideally in the hospitality or retail industry.
• Strong understanding of employee benefits laws, regulations, and compliance requirements (e.g., ERISA, ACA, HIPAA).
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building rapport with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in HRIS and benefits administration software (e.g., ADP, Paychex).
• SHRM or other relevant HR certifications are a bonus!
Testing Test 1 pay transparency $120,000 — $130,000 USD
